Sliding Screen Door Roller Hardware: Missing Tension Screws

Over the years, two (2) of the "Tension Springs" for adjusting the Roller Springs have gone missing.

None of my local sources seem to be able to identify them and/or get them for me.

SOME SPECIFICATIONS:

1 1/2 " Long (Including Head).
Head Diameter. Approx. 1/4".
Phillips slotted.
O.D. of Thread 0.162" (About the size of a #6 Sheet Metal Screw).
Threads. 18 T.P.I., sheet metal form thread.
The lower portion of the screw has been machined to remove the sharp thread.

I would like to find some of the correct screws instead of jamming ground-off sheet metal screws in the existing holes.

I cannot find the Tension Screws.

Someone makes them. Someone sells them, but who?

I have been to retail and wholesale places that make/repair Sliding Screen Doors. NO HELP.

I tried the McMaster-Carr catalog. No help.

They are out there somewhere. I could probably grind the point off a Sheet Metal Screw and make do, but I would rather not mess up the hole in the frame.

Were you able to locate replaement tension screws?

I have tried, but can't find any. I've bought every metal screw that looks close, but none of them have worked.

If you found some, please let me know where.
