One of our screen door kits will do the job though. The trick is to get the measurement of the screen door right so the new one will go right on without any issues.
If you have the original screen door, or if your friend has an RV or Boat with an identical door, the process is simple. Just measure the height and width of the old door.
But if you have no screen door at all you will need to figure out what style of mounting your screen door has.
RV Screen Doors
Most patio door screen installed in RV's have ride in a channel at the top and on a track at the bottom. The screen doors have rollers at both top and bottom. RV Doors are a bit shorter than a regular house door, often measuring between 72 inches and 76 inches high.
Houseboat screen doors
Houseboats seem to use a lot of top hung screen doors, where the rollers ride in a track at the top and on the bottom of the door you might have rollers or guides riding on a track. The top hung doors are better on a boat because having adjustable rollers at deck level might be a problem in a wet environment.
