Electronic Pet Door

The electronic pet door can solve some of the problems of the traditional pet doors. A regular pet door can allow raccoons, other peoples pet and other critters an easy path into your house, attracted by the smell of pet food. The electronic door has the ability to recognize your pet and allow only that pet to enter and exit through the door.

The electronic door works through a specially designed collar worn by your pet. When the pet comes close the door latch is opened and the pet came come in. The door latches behind your pet once your pet is out of range preventing any other animal from gaining entry

The installation of these doors requires a source of power for the door electronics and latch so you need to plan for this if you plan to install one.
