Anderson screen door corner

V. E. Anderson corner piece
Question In 1970, my builder installed an aluminum sliding screen door that I believe was made by the V. E. Anderson Mfg. Co. Nice, heavy-duty construction, but someone managed to break two of the corner pieces with rollers. Anderson has since gone out of business, and I have not yet found anyone stocking the legacy parts. See photo. Any ideas on how to find some?
When I was taking the door apart to get out the broken pieces, I realized that the spline was a lot larger than my more modern spline tool was designed to fit. (I can't measure it right now because it is in a vacation rental about 200 miles away.) The good news is that both the spline and cloth are probably reusable. What tool should I try to find?AnswerThe screen door roller and corner in your picture are what I know as an "MRSA" and it's used by dozens of screen door manufacturers across North America under different names.
See my screen door hardware page for more information about it. Its likely you will find it at a local glass shop but if they dont carry them please contact me and I will supply them.
As for the spline roller, you should be able to find a useable tool at Loews and Home Depot for a one time use. I have only professional tools which will work for many sizes of spline. If you no luck finding a local supplier please contact me.
